Vancouver’s Green Economy Working Paper #5: Local Food Jobs 2012

Green Economy Working Paper #5
This study aims to define and quantify the number of local food jobs in the city of Vancouver. It builds on an initial VEC analysis, as summarized in the ‘The Economy of Local Food in Vancouver’ and serves as a companion to that report. The results suggest that approximately one per cent (3,900) of the jobs in the city of Vancouver can be considered as local food jobs. This represents approximately eight percent of the total estimated food jobs in the city.
