What is a reverse pitch?

In a reverse pitch, decisionmakers share a circular challenge their business is facing. The quick pitch format is fast-moving and engaging, and allows innovators in the audience, and watching virtually, to ask questions that will determine whether they have solutions to the challenges presented.

Who should attend?

Innovators with products, services or technologies that solve circular challenges are encouraged to attend. The pitching companies represent several industries, ranging from apparel to food, and are seeking innovative solutions to their challenges. The event presents a rare opportunity for innovators to learn specific challenges faced by established Canadian brands, so they can identify and propose their relevant technologies.

After the session, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the pitching companies on their circular challenge.

How do I register?

This event is part of Globe 2022 and all participants must have a qualifying Globe pass to attend. The session transitions directly into The Night Market Reception hosted by Destination Vancouver, Invest Vancouver, and the Vancouver Economic Commission, also part of Globe 2022. All-Access and Marketplace Access Pass ticket-holders can attend Get in the Loop, the Night Market Reception and other events in the Globe 2022 program. Virtual Pass ticket-holders can attend the pitch event online. (what’s Globe?).
