Peter Sun

With a background in real estate, business strategy, architecture and construction, Peter joins the Vancouver Economic Commission to support the green economy, decarbonization and resilience work in Vancouver’s built environment. As the Economic Transformation Analyst of Green Buildings, Peter leverages his Master’s in Engineering Leadership from the University of British Columbia and project management experience in real estate development to deliver impact-driven initiatives.

Specifically, Peter is currently working with public and private sector stakeholders on implementing actions identified from the green buildings technology attraction strategy. The results would continue to support the electrification and decarbonization efforts in Vancouver and British Columbia.

Peter is passionate about the intricacies of cities and the built environment. He looks forward to contributing to the mission of VEC and position Vancouver competitively in the global market.
