Vancouver is home to a thriving, knowledge-based startup ecosystem – one that is attracting the attention of investors across North America. In recognition of this, the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) is holding their 2016 annual summit here in Vancouver for the first time. This gathering represents the highest ever concentration of Angel investors in Vancouver.
Vancouver Startup City Capital 2016 is a focused, four-day program that allows both local investors and Angels participating in NACO to discover Vancouver’s innovative and high-potential startups. It also acts as a platform for local startups to plug into various activities throughout the week in collaboration with NACO. A PDF of our full program is available for download.

Fast Pitch offers each selected founder two minutes to give their elevator pitch and receive valuable, on-the-spot feedback on high-level messaging in a safe, supported and entrepreneur-only session. This session will be facilitated by Tom Williams, a Canadian Angel Investor & Founder of BetterCompany from BC, currently living in San Francisco. Tom delivers similar sessions for the C100, an organization dedicated to supporting Canadian founders in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area.
