Impact 6 Pack will help you create a unique Impact Strategy for your business, build a peer network of mission-driven businesses, and powerfully communicate the positive impact generated by your business while completing the B Corp Impact Assessment. Impact 6 Pack is delivered by Decade Impact Strategy & Activation, sponsored by the Business Development Bank of Canada, and hosted by the Vancouver Economic Commission.
The world’s most ethical companies are certified B Corporations, including Patagonia, Hootsuite, Eminence Organic Skin Care, Fairware, Bullfrog Power, SMAK Food, Kickstarter, Method Products, Ben & Jerry’s, and the BDC. Impact 6 Pack is based on the B Corp framework and will prepare your business to submit for certification.
Impact 6 Pack will put your business on a clear path to meaningful impact and realizing all the benefits that flow to businesses that are committed to being a force for good in the world.
Impact 6 Pack will not be retuning in 2021. Businesses looking to step into impact leadership can find support and programming through Decade Impact. Decade works with small and medium enterprises to help define, measure, manage and communicate impact.
Over twelve weeks, participating businesses work online within a collaborative cohort to craft their impact business models and implement impact strategies in their businesses. The course is comprised of six modules designed to build a strategic impact plan unique to each business. This year, all course modules and course sessions will be held online.
Impact 6 Pack is facilitated by Kristy O’Leary and Brianna Brown, co-Founders of Decade Impact, and powered by BDC and the Vancouver Economic Commission. The B Corp Impact Assessment provides the course framework and a basis for evaluating participants’ existing and potential social, environmental, governance, and economic impacts.
Full day sessions include presentations and hands-on tutelage from facilitators, rich peer-to-peer discussion, and independent work time. Please note that maximum eight businesses will be admitted; participating businesses can enroll up to two participants for the duration of the online course.
Impact 6 Pack is a wise foundational step to take if you’re serious about becoming B Corp certified. With the teaching, tools and contacts provided you’ll get there faster and more effectively than you could on your own.

We went into this workshop thinking we would just be equipped with being guided through the application and understanding the questions and how to properly answer them. We had no idea that it would actually entail awakening us to the influence and power we hold to be an example and truly embody the values we believe in.
