We developed the updated brand platform for VEC as an evolution of our existing visual identity – improving the depth and breadth of our system while retaining the brand equity and recognition we enjoy. Like Vancouver itself, the result is bold, modern, clean and progressive.
We completed most of the refresh work in 2019, with some minor development across the first months of 2020, and originally planned for its release to happen early this year. Due to other priorities, including the initial COVID-19 response, we delayed the launch to now.
We intend to leverage this work across all partner channels in the economic development ecosystem to strengthen our communication presence and retain top-of-mind status for Vancouver during this important recovery period.
