This virtual event is a part of Angels for Climate Solutions, a program designed to accelerate investment into climate solutions by connecting startups with investors who share similar values. One lucky startup from the cohort will receive $150,000 in investment, and this pitch night will narrow down the list of contenders from 15 to 10.
The 15 startups present a diverse set of climate solutions ranging from smarter energy generation to regenerative livestock farming, AI for farms and forestry, and managing food surplus and waste logistics. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet all 15 startups and learn about the innovative solutions they are developing to address climate change.
Plus, hear from keynote speaker, Marlon Thompson, the founder of Future Capital, about the role of early stage investors have to play in the growth of our local startup ecosystem. Plus, Marlon will answer your questions about angel investors operate.
