Heat Pump Technology Attraction Strategy

 
The Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) is seeking a multi-disciplinary consulting team to undertake research, consultation, and strategy development to create a process for attracting more high-performance heat pump manufacturers to do business in British Columbia. The purpose of this work is to ensure that British Columbians have a an affordable and accessible supply of high-performance heat pumps that are understood to be critical to achieving local government and provincial decarbonization goals, especially those envisioned in the BC Building Electrification Roadmap.

The results of this study will be used to inform VEC’s economic development activities related to growing an inclusive, resilient, low-carbon economy, and to inform British Columbia’s pathway towards a fully electrified built environment.
