Vancouver Green Capital Launch and Mayor’s Speech On September 30, 2009, Mayor Gregor Robertson delivered a speech to the Vancouver Board of Trade announcing the launch of the Vancouver Green Capital brand, in conjunction with VEDC’s 2010 attraction program and Economic Development Strategy (link) for the City of Vancouver.
